my battery was at 2%; i put it on the charger and it charged fine. Now it won't sync to my phone and it says the time is 9:58 am..it's actually 1:16 pm. i have reset it, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, i made sure the app was up to date and i'm just getting more and more frustrated. My phone will pick up the fitbit and it gives me a number to put in the app but then just keeps searching for it. finally asks me to try again and nothing. please help!

Hi there - I found 'unpairing' it from your bluetooth helps your phone pair it again.
I had to uninstall/install my Versa too but because I had issues with Fitbit pay (which still isn't resolve) and had your same problem with pairing.
So if you go into your bluetooth setting and select "forget this device" - then try the set up again. This will now help pair your phone and versa like new.

I'm in the same boat with the Pixel 2 XL on android 9. I bought the Versa 2 days ago, the update took 15 hours to get 50% complete only to just fail. Pretty annoyed with this thing so far.

That’s okay.. I just got my third one, First one wouldn’t sync, second one battery wouldn’t hold charge... this one heart rate doesn’t register! Sick of this flipping thing! Every replacement has been refurbished! Time for a new one that works or full refund.
