Swapping out devices?

I recent got a Versa 2, and was hoping to use my original Versa while my Versa2 is charging. I thought Fitbit had a feature where you could wear any Fitbit linked to your account and all the data would populate into your dashboard. But when I set up the Versa 2, the original Versa was deleted from my app.  Can anyone help? Thanks.

Never mind. I found the answer. The answer is no. 🙁

Actually the answer isn't no.

If you create a second account and attach your old Versa to it you can get the data off it by switching accounts and syncing, which is only necessary about once a week, as it keeps about that much data and needs to sync time occasionally, if the watch doesn't keep accurate time by itself.

So the only thing you need do is logout of one account and login to the other.

You can wear both if you want and charge one then the other.

If you want to minimize down time while charging you can switch to the SimpleClockDuo watch face as it tells you when the watch will be charged while its on charge.

@Guy_   I apologize if I misunderstand what you wrote.  Two accounts are exactly that, two accounts.  There is no way to merge data from two accounts and Fitbit has no plans to offer it.

@Bgailr312   I try to recharge my Fitbit when I know I am not going to be very active.  I don't miss the data.

@LZeeWBy using 2 different accounts [without merging data, of course] its possible to switch watches while charging the other.

What it means is if you want to track exercise or heart or something, you can while the other is charging, and best of all you know what the time is!

@Bgailr312 What you did was already known as the only solution. Add and remove the Trackers from your app. Switching like that wasn't a viable solution for you? It's been suggested, but I never saw anyone post that they do it regularly.

I have had a Versa2 for over a year.  I have also have a Charge2 and a Blaze.  I switch watches on my wrist throughout the day depending on what I am doing.  All of them are on the same account.  I just got a Versa to replace the Blaze which is having issues occasionally.

What I think I am hearing is that I just wasted my money!!!!!
