My versa went black and was replaced with a Versa 2 and I am sadly disappointed that the distance option for tracking lengths was missing. (main reason for buying a fitbit was to track swims) Why would fitbit remove that option? Lengths are important to swimmers, not time. I can swim fast or slow but knowing how many lengths I want to obtain keeps me on track. Fitbit- you really need to update the Versa 2.

Hi @cat762, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the swimming lengths on the Fitbit Versa 2, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat.
I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.

I agree that not having lengths on the Versa 2 swim software is a disappointing oversight. The software was better on the Versa. It seems like an unnecessary limitation.

I am also very disappointed at the loss of this function, I was sent a Versa 2 as a replacement for the Versa as also the screen started working on its own and the battery running dead. Swimmers wants lengths and distance while they are doing it not just duration or after they’ve left the pool
