Sync Issues

My Fitbit Versa will not sync since 25 July since the latest update to the app. This is really disappointing. I have had the tracker for just over 4 weeks and find the temperamental syncing isses very frustrating. This tracker wading most expensive to date and it's of no use if it doesn't have full functionality. Could you please advise if you are working on rectifying the issues with the app which appear to be affecting a number of people.

Hello @GailAng

Sometimes a restart or a factory reset helps on this matter. 

Also restart your phone.

Can you try to sync it on a different computer. Mayb e the current one is having trouble with the Bluetooth signal.

It works on an old phone that I haven't updated. The problem appears to be the latest software update

Hi again @GailAng

This may be your problem, thanks for letting us know it still works on your old phone. 

What I did when I recieved my new phone is I removed my Fitbit handshake with my old phone first.

Hi

Thanks for the information. It did work fine until last Weds so not sure why it's suddenly developed this problem. It does sync to my charge 2 with no problem...

Same here, apparently the versa apt not compatible with the Huawei P Smart, think i will have to wait for a update.

What's confusing is mine was fine until last Weds so not sure why it would suddenly become incompatible ?

Hi

 

Just an update. I have not received a permanent solution from Fitbit Support. They have advised that my mobile phone is not fully supported therefore connection will be sporadic until such time as the device is supported. They have not given me a timescale in which this will be completed so am considering returning the tracker for a refund. Thanks to all those who offered suggestions to try to fix.
