Synching Bluetooth connection issues

New Fitbit Versa issues with Bluetooth connection to iPhone  SE... with the dashboard open in the app the there is a continuers cycle of searching/connected... synching starts and then stops as it starts looking again.  Is this same issue as reported elsewhere between IOS Fitbit or is there something else going on? I have tried resetting the watch and the phone, uninstalling the app and reinstalling. I had no issues with a charge 2 connection and synching though there were a couple of times early on where I had to reinstall it.  PS As I  have written this it seems to have stabilised but any thoughts would be still be appreciated

@Geoff899 Try this (even several times) in this order:

 

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in phone's Bluetooth settings
  6. Grant all permissions incl pairing
  7. Make sure Fitbit Notifications are enabled in your phone Settings. If they are switch them off, sync, switch them back ON, and sync again. Please follow steps 1-3 from my post here to properly set up the notifications on your iPhone.
