Hello everyone,
I try not to bother people with questions but neccesity has forced my hand. I have read everything on synching troubleshooting and nothing has helped, but there is an additional problem with the app too. What happened was I let the Versa 2 die on me for about 20 days so once I got charge on it, it was about 20 days behind and refused to connect/synch to my phone. This has happened before, and if I remember correctly it fixed itself after several days of rejecting my phone.
Now this summer finds me working for the U.S. Forest Service in southern Montana, and I am living about 20 miles from the nearest source of internet. The thing still refuses to pair/synch with my phone, and it is my only way to track running distances and stuff because of my lack of internet. Additionally, the Fitbit app seems to refuse to recognize mobile data as a source of internet, firmly insisting that I do not have internet connection every time I push a synch on the app. I have restarted the fitbit, the app, my phone, and downloaded/reinstalled the app too. Still says I don't have internet. I deleted my fitbit Versa 2 from the app, hoping to re-install it and that would force a synch. But since it refuses to recognize internet, it will not let me re-install the watch.
Any help greatly appreciated! I will answer questions to the best of my ability but I need to drive 30 or so miles to find a decent enough data connection so bear with me.

Okay, so in the time it took me to write that, the watch decided to synch AFTER I deleted it from my phone. It now has the correct date and everything. Weird. Anyway, I still can't re-install it to the app because the app won't recognize mobile data as internet so any help regarding that is still greatly appreciated!
