Synching issues with my Versa

Trying to Syncg my Versa on my Samsug 5 and it's taking for forever.. keeps coming up with error..How can I speed up the download so it won;t start over everytime

@SunsetRunner Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not syncing with your Samsung 5.

 

Please take a look at this help page, which has a list of the devices that sync with Fitbit trackers. If your phone is not listed, this may be the reason why your Versa is experiencing syncing issues with it. However, you can try setting up and syncing your Versa through a computer. Please check out the steps listed in this help page.

I know it may sound absurd, but make sure your phone has the last Android update. I gotta my Samsung Note 9 and my Versa at the same time, in the beginning it synced normally. But, after two weeks I started to have problems to sync. I've reset my Versa, installed old versions of Fitbit app nothing solved my problem. 

 

Yesterday, I updated my phone to new Android version (Oreo) and it works just great. Whenever I open the app now, it syncs nearly instantly. 

 

So, make really sure your phone is updated and try sync your Versa with another phone, just to make sure.
