Syncing difficulties with Android 6.0

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am a big fan of Fitbit smart watches , I had a Fitbit ionic previously and now I received a Versa 2 for Christmas as a present , unfortunately I haven't been able to use it.

i tried to sync it with the mobile I was using with my Fitbit Ionic but unfortunately the fitbit app told me that my android version is too old (android 6)and cannot connect, I thought to connect it to my iPad , but apparently that too it's too old (version 10.3) , as a last option I went and open my laptop with win10 updated to the lastest version but once again my laptop apparently doesn't have the latest low energy Bluetooth and won't connect.

is it possible that you are making life so complicated for customers ? Do I need to change my mobile , iPad and laptop so that I can use my Fitbit?

Please adress this issue as I have noticed I am not the only person facing this issue.

And one more thing add Xiaoming as a compatible phone to use with the Fitbit app and trackers as if I have to change phone I will probably go for a xiaoming.

If you continue experiencing difficulties, please try with a compatible device instead.

 Hi there,

so far I had my new versa2 on top of my bedside table and I still didn't managed to connect it to any devices. Could you explain to mewhy does the fitbit versa2 shows on the bluetooth setting of my laptop running witndows 10 but when tryin to connect it to the fitbit app the app doesn't find the tracker?

P.S. I also tried to connect my versa2 to my macbook air running the latest catalina ios and guess what , no luck , apparently the bluetooth of the macbook air is not compatible.

I have never heard such a thing before

I am also having this same issue on my LG g4 Android 6.0 and it's frustrating! Why not just make these watches compatible with what people have been using as phones and divices?! Not all of us want to or CAN upgrade to these pricy phones. Common fit bit...
