I get the notification that I have a text message and when I try to open it on my Fitbit Versa 2 it opens on my phone only. How do I fix this?

By tapping the message and reading the first charectors of the message on your wrist. 

Tapping open is telling Fitbit to open the message on your phone. Everything is working as it should be.

I can't read the message at all.  It only shows that I have a message and I don't have the option of reading it.
