Text messages

I am receiving calendar, phone and app notifications but I am not getting any texts. I’ve done step by step for notifications but can’t get the text to work. I’ve done a restart on devices and it has no affect. 

Any ideas?

Did you choose your default text app in notifications?

Yes, I am using iPhone. Text message notification is on in both the app and my device.

Same here I have gotten maybe 2 of 20 today and no phone call notifications

I am not seeing where to enable calendar, phone and text messaging? Where is the location to set this up?

Do you know if you can get facebook notification?

@SunsetRunner under notifications in Fitbit mobile app. You should have a list of apps/services there that have access to notification centre. Basically each time the app sends notification and it appears in your phone notification centre, that list should get updated. If you don't see the app there, firsr make sure you can receive notifications on your phone (that they're being displayed in the notification bar).

I see and have checked every option. The texts still don’t work.

What type of iPhone? Have you tried unpairing the Fitbit from your iPhone and re-pairing it? 

When you are receiving the texts, is your phone open to the message already when it’s coming through? Because when I am actively texting someone and I’m receiving messages from that person, I do not get notifications. Also, once I’ve opened and looked at a text on my phone, it disappears from the Versa notifications. 

I have an iPhone X running the latest OS and it works for me no problem.

I too have the iPhone X. I have closed all apps reopened and have reset everything. My sister has the same Fitbit. When she first set it up, her texts came in fine. Now, however, she may get one out of 20. I think there is a patch or repair somewhere that is forthcoming.
Like I said in the beginning, all other notifications come, including calendar updates. I’m frustrated but I have confidence it will be fixed sooner or later.
