I have followed all Information about setting up messages but still they won’t come through. Will receive messenger but not text messages

When this happened to me, I just had to enable the notifications in the mobile app. Click the Account icon, scroll down to Privacy and Security sections, and touch the Notifications. Turn them on for the messaging, and whatever else is missing it.
