Text notification appearing on another Versa

I bought a Versa in black and used  it for a few days - they didn't have the lavender one anywhere in stock.  I bought the lavender one when it was in stock and gave the black one to my husband.  I removed the black one from my account and set up another account for my husband.  Now he gets my text notifications if he's close to me.  I get the notification on my watch as well.  We've removed and reloaded the watch several times.  Anyone find a way for him to stop getting my text notifications?

The reason your husband is still getting your texts is because the Versa is still connected to your phone.

Go to the phones Bluetooth menu and remove his Versa .

I'm new to the Versa club, try a factory reset as other Fitbit trackers recommend doing this if your going to give your device to someone else.

Here are the instructions on page 68.
