Text notifications not working on my Versa

I have had my Versa since 9/15/19, so this may be just a new user problem. I have certain notifications set up for my Versa (text, calls, Facebook messages) and text message notifications do not work. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app on my iPhone 7, I have tried changing the notification settings on the watch, the app, and the phone itself. I get call notifications, and I get Facebook message notifications, but the text notifications just will not come through. Any suggestions?

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor the text notifications and see if the issue gets fixed.

I’m having the same issue. Tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and still not working. This is happening on my Versa and Versa 2. 
Thought Versa 2 would take care of it since it’s a newer model but not the case - looks like I will be returning that one. 

Any suggestions?


I’d rather not switch to an Apple Watch but if the notifications won’t work on the Versa that may be the next step.

I am having the same issue. I can receive phone calls but not text messages. Just updated my phone to iOS 13 and now the messages are not coming through. Any suggestions?
