Is it possible, on the Versa, to set the text notifications to private so it only shows the name and not the text message?

Hi, AFAIK this is not possible. But on the bottom of the notifications page it says: "Encrypting is by default activated for this device". See this help article: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2015/?q=Are+notifications+encrypted%3F&l=en_US&f....

@CRossi916  You can try looking at your phone Lock Screen and Security settings and set Notifications to "Hide Content on Lock Screen".  You will end up seeing on your Versa "1 New Message" and no content.  You would need to open and read the message on your phone.  No Quick Reply would be possible with this scenario.

Seems like Fitbit is giving its customers a choice between functionality and privacy. There's no technical reason why people shouldn't be able to choose a straightforward "new message" notification popping up on the screen with more detailed information within the menus. Seems an odd design choice to just presume everyone wants to advertise all their messages on their wrist to anyone nearby.

This is an old post but the security for your messages is controlled within your messaging app and/or phone settings. Fitbit simply displays what those apps are sending so the settings are within those apps.
