Time awake inaccurate

Most nights my fitbit will track between 30-1 hour time awake before I have even gone to sleep! It's usually a full chunk or it will track asleep for something tiny like 2 minutes then come back to being awake. I understand I might wake up during the night and forget but why is it tracking time awake before I've even started to sleep, It seems pointless?

How can I stop this? I've changed the sleep settings to sensitive but that has not made much of a difference.
