The 2 buttons on the right side of my versa do not work. I can’t press them at all no matter how hard I try. They won’t budge. How can I fix this issue?

Hi, the two buttons on the right side act like a shorcut. If you press the upper right button slighlty, it will open the app that's on the first page on the left side of your apps page, in my case this is the weather app. When you press the lower right button slightly, it will start the app that's on the lower left side of the first page of your apps, in my case Philips Hue. If the right buttons do not act in this way, open one of these apps and assign them to one of these buttons. F.i. open the weather app and press the upper right button, etc. Works for me always. @Cristal157 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the buttons on the right side are not working properly.
I'd just like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after following the tips that shared @SunsetRunner. In addition, please try to clean around the buttons with a toothpick in order to remove any dust that may be affecting the buttons.

This happened on my fitbit Versa also and the above solution did not work. Any other suggestions? I was in the Exercise - Swim app when I noticed this and now I cannot close the app.

I also can’t use the right side buttons. My phone can’t find my watch and need to reset but can’t because the bottom right button is not working. Not sure what to do?

I have the same problem, but instead ALL my buttons won't work unless I restart my watch. This happens after my watch acts strangely as I described in my post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/Versa-Acting-Strange/m-p/4118446#M169365

I'm having the same problem my phone can't find my versa and I need to reset but can't use the buttons on the right side either they just don't move did you ever find a solution? I love doing the challenges with friends it really helps to get me moving but I can't use them without my versa syncing with the app. 😥
