How is it possible that a digitized, Bluetooth device is suddenly 8 minutes slow?? I’ve tried restarting it, resetting time zones, etc. How can i adjust the time on my Versa and guarantee it won’t happen again? I was almost late to work today because of it! Never thought it would run slow...especially since it’s only a couple weeks old! Help!

The only way the time is updated is by syncing with your device. The timezone can be set manually but the time itself cannot.

I have this same problem and would love a solution.
My child spent an extra 20 mins in school today cos the time of the fitbit was slow.
cant be a sync issue because the phone its synced to was still correct.
the watch appears to continously slow down now over the last 2 days by a few minutes an hour

Hey, did you get this issue resolved? The same thing is happening with mine. It is driving me mad the last 2 weeks. There have been messages back and forth to Fitbit but nothing has been resolved.

I had the same problem of a few minutes difference between my Versa and my phone. However, I finally discovered that the problem was coming from the phone: I had the "Automatic date and time" disabled on the phone. When I put it back to automatic, the phone clock moved a few minutes and is now aligned with the Fitbit Versa.

Mine is doing the same thing- yesterday it was off by 10 minutes and today it is 20 minutes slow. It also won’t sync with my phone. I’ve tried rebooting the fitbit, turning on and off my Bluetooth, starting and restarting the app, fiddling with the automatic time zone setting on my phone- nothing works. Any help is appreciated.

Hiya! I'm relieved to see others [unfrotunately] experiencing the same issues as me! I thought I was alone.
Versa will not sync, no matter what.. to laptop or phone, via bluetooth or wifi. Time has slowed down since my last successful sync by over an hour now. It refuses to sync, no matter how many times the watch, phone, and the app is rebooted. Even after a factory reset - no end in sight to this issue. Looking at swapping for Samsung. It's been a week of incorrect times, failure to sync. Given up now.

Uuuggghhhh, I had that problem so many times but it's absolutely fine now! I think the factory reset did it. I also spoke with somebody from Fitbit through Twitter, the best way to contact them.
