Today App refuses Internet connection

The today app on my versa 2 keeps giving the error message “this app requires the ‘Internet’ permission to be granted” I have went in to the app permissions multiple times over the past couple days, and this permission is turned on but the watch doesn’t seem to register this. What would the fix be?

Try rebooting your phone. Check the tracker settings for sync and any other adjustments. No-stress functionality around the whole thing is unstable. Sent from my MetroPCS 4G LTE Android Device

I turned my internet off gave it about 5 minutes, turned it back on . Result 👍. All connected 😊
