I bought not one but 4 Versas. The first 3 wouldn't pass the set-up process and connect. I spent about 3 hours in total with techs and a supervisor. After wasting my time on the phone and running back to the store 3X, I decided a month later to purchase on from Verizon. This one connected up effortlessly but now, one month later, it shows an astronomical step count that doesn't at all reflect real life. I have been sick for the past few days and in bed, and unable to walk more than a block or two. While lying in bed, my Versa has been going off daily to congratulate me for walking 10,000 steps. I am 2 weeks outside their return policy and Verizon won't take it back. I have been a Fitbit customer since the Ultra a number of years ago, and currently own about 6 models, but they won't make good and either refund my money or let me get another model. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I am done with Fitbit and intend to discuss this on Amazon and Facebook, so others don't get duped into buying an inferior product. Fitbit is in a money crunch and put out a device that wasn't ready and has too many bugs.

I went through 2 Versas. My first died on me and second stopped receiving calls after my phone updated so it really wasn’t worth the $200 for a regular Fitbit device. Customer service was no help but luckily I bought it from Best Buy. They are the best and I’ve had nothing but excellent customer service there. So when my second versa failed I was done with Fitbit. Not only does their customer service lack knowledge or service but not updating their challenges and trails these past years have really bugged me. I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2014. Had high hopes for The Versa but I’m truly done with Fitbit. I boxed up my Versa, went to Best Buy and got a Samsung gear sport and I LOVE it! Since Fitbit hasn’t and has no plans to update the feature I loved best about Fitbit, I am at no lost switching over to Samsung. Without improving their challenges and trails, Fitbit is no different from other fitness trackers and smart watches besides not being up to par with their competitors. My Samsung gear sport was quick and easy to set up and I can receive notifications, calls, and text messages. I can even speak into my watch or write my own text reply. So much more versatile than the Versa. And the Versa looks so cheap next to the Samsung. Not once did I have to restart my device, factory reset it, unpair my Bluetooth, uninstall and reinstall the app, call customer service, return my device, worry about scratches or cracks, etc.
