Totally dead Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a versa 2 that I purchased in March of this year. I have had no issues with it to date until last night it randomly stopped working. Phone said the battery was at 50 percent and I went to check the time to notice it is totally dead! No flashing green light on the back, not reacting to the charger (ie no vibration or screen activity) & no reaction to the left button no matter how long I hold it! Help would really be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi @AbbieM84  Try a factory reset if it will do it, but if not then you will need to contact Customer Support

Fitbit Support

BUTTON FACTORY RESET FOR VERSA 2 AND VERSA LITE
Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

Hi @NellyG!

Thank you for your reply!

This worked for two days then today, after charging it, I came back to find that the was a  magenta triangle with an exclamation mark through it appearing on the screen.

I’m trying the factory reset again but no joy so far unfortunately. Screen is staying black when I press the back button (the left hand side of screen).

Is there anything else I can do?

thanks.

Unfortunately there is nothing else to try, except contact Support (link in my original post) I DO hope they are able to help.

Mine went dead this morning. My hard reset was to hold the Left and Bottom Right button for 12 seconds.  Eventually, the icon came on and then the clock face and it charged normally.
