I just bought my Fitbit versa 3 Two days ago and I can't get past the firmware update for the tracker I start the update it gets 5% and I get a big old Red x I have used different phones I have used a tablet and I've used a laptop to try to get this to work I haven't even seen a clock face or anything yet the only screen that it shows me is download Fitbit app do I have to take the Fitbit back to where I bought it and get it different one or what can I possibly do to fix this issue

Hello @Jbahls what type of phone?
If it is android, does it fail when the phones screen turns off?.
Start the download, then move the fitbit app to the background.
Have you tried both over WiFi and Bluetooth.
For WiFi, leave the tracker charging. Your homes WiFi also has to be of the 2.5 type.
Once if fails through WiFi, you should see the option to use Bluetooth.
It has been years since I updated over WiFi.

The trick is to keep the watch and phone literary on top of the router... The WiFi chip in the watch is very and keeps dropping signal...just the two next to the router and it usually takes 10mins...if you already getting 5% you almost there... It just keeps dropping signal.... Also make your phone and watch are fully charged
