How can I track miles, calories, and time using an indoor stationary bike on Versa. I'm going to return it if I can't find a satisfying way. Thank you.

I just adding spinning this morning so I might be able to help. On your phone, open the fitbit app. There's a square, credit card looking icon in the upper right corner (on an iphone.) Touch that and you should see your account info. Touch the Versa icon, then scroll down to Exercise shortcuts and touch that. At the bottom of the list is +Exercise Shortcut. If it's gray, you have to delete an exercise before adding one. Seven is the limit. Pick any exercise you don't do, swipe left and delete. The +Exercise Shortcut will turn green. Press it and choose spinning.

Back out of the app to get back to the main app screen, let it sync and ta-da, your spinning app will be on your versa.

Thanks for this, needed a step by step guide to add other exercises, the other guides are not clear enough.

I also use a stationary bike. Similar to the ankle strap method, I have to remember to put my tracker in the pocket of my shorts. It picks up the rotations that way.

does not work.  spinning never gets recognized.  i suspect this solution is outdated as the description provided does not match what is on my app.

Horkwiir_t3rb,

There are many suggestions/techniques cited in this post. Would you mention which technique you tried that does not work. It would be helpful. Thanks.

How do you log the mileage etc?  I haven't found a way to edit mine.

ASAIK, you cannot edit info in the app. The only way I've found to change info in the exercise portion is on the website. Make a note of the info for that days exercise, then delete the entry and re-enter all the data, adding distance, or whatever was missed.

Looking back at my spin entries, I never bothered entering distance.
