Fitbit shows Trending Data for a variety of items, such as weight, distance etc. The trending period is Day, Week, Month or Year. I would prefer to see the ability to trend for the last 7 days, last 30 days or last 365 days.
The problem with the other choices, is that if you're at the beginning of a week, month or year, your see virtually no trend line. last 7 days, etc., will still show you the trend line.
@davidkbrown in the Public Preview of the new Fitbit app data are presented in the way that you suggest. If you are in one of the countries where the Public Preview is supported and you have Fitbit Premium, you are able to test that out. If not, you will have access to that eventually, but I'm not sure exactly when.

Best AnswerStatic intervals at Fitbit often hide progress at the beginning of the period, so a request for "last 7 or 30 days" is logical for a continuous trendline. Best Answer@davidkbrown the new Fitbit app is still being tested. For now, it is only available to Premium members. Eventually, it will be released to Basic members as well. Then everyone will have access to that feature.

@davidkbrown This version of the app will, according to Google, "become the new app experience." Certain features will require Premium, basic won't. Like @alexthecat wrote, you will eventually see this.
