Unable to Add Apps, Change Clock, or set up Anything

So I am unable to set up anything on my Brand New Versa. I want to add an App called Fiton, but it keeps telling me I need my Fitbit app and my Fitbit to be up to date. I checked and they both are. I tried changing my clock face, adding different apps and same thing I can’t because apparently I’m not updated.  What can I do?

Have you tried restarting the app or phone, or tracker? 

Maybe delete the app and install a fresh copy?

Yes I’ve tried downloading a new app, I tried restarting my Fitbit as well as my phone..
