I can't seem to add a credit card on my google wallet on my Fitbit app. I have a versa 2. Anyone else experiencing this? Fitbit pay was working fine, then I was basically forced to update to Google Pay, now it is not working. I get the following message when trying to add a card:
"This card cant be set up for tap to pay. Your bank doesn't support tap to pay with your watch on your card. Contact your bank for more info or add another card."
I've already tried doing the following:
-tried calling my bank. they verified they are compatible.
- I checked the bank compatibility list. I tried using two cards and both appear on the list - AMEX and Discover, I am in U.S.
- checked for updates on both Fitbit app and google wallet app. both are up to date
- I have a PIN enabled on my app
- I unconnected my versa 2, and reconnected
Someone please help. this is very infuriating.

The same watch version with you. I am in Australia. I can not add new cards that are accepted to connect to Fitbit Pay, either.

Same. This is one of many issues that have propped up since Google took over and forced us to make the transition from Fitbit Pay, which always worked flawlessly (not to mention the other changes they've made for the worse in the app). I have been caught out at least 4 times now in a store where my Google pay tap doesn't work, and I don't have any other method of payment with me (because I've been so used to not needing it for years now). It's gotten so bad that if they don't fix this ASAP, I'll be looking at other brands for the first time since 2009. Really sad.
