I am having trouble setting up my new versa. I previous had an earlier model and after setting up the new versa all the old data from the earlier device is on the versa log in. To me the versa should start with a clear log. Can anyone help please I am pulling my hair out with frustration.

That's correct. If you use the same account as you used before then all your data, badges, settings etc will still be there

Al your data gets stored on the fitbit servers rather than on the tracker itself. So, when you change tracker, your data is not affected.

If you'd like to start again then the quickest and easiest way is to create a new account, but you will need to use a different email address.

If you'd rather delete and reuse your current account, it can be done but it takes a long time. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1285/

Thankyou so much, so in short if I keep the same account, even though I set up a new device all the old data will carry over?

Thankyou so much, I’m not very tec savvy but I take from your response that even though I set up a new device, because it is on the original account all the data from my old device carries over?
