Unable to connect One Plus 6 with Fitbit Versa

I have bought fitbit versa and I am unable to connect it from my one plus 6 phone. 
It doesnt sync. It doesnt update. 

 

I am in doubt that I should return the watch !!

This may not be easy to fix.

 

The One Plus 6 is not on fitbit's list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

 

This could mean that it has been tested and found to not work 100% or it could just mean that it hasn't been tested. However, I have run a quick search for that phone in the community and there are other posts from people having problems.

 

It's worth trying fitbit's troubleshooting guide for setup issues at Help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? but if you are still having problems after that then returning it while you still can might be your best option.
