Why can I not use Textra as a messages app?  I set it on the app for messages but I can not view the message on my versa.

Hello @kcummings0105  since you're asking about receiving messages I moved your pretty or odd the thread on responding to messages.

Nor knowing about Textra or what type of phone you might have?

A few things to check.

  • Make sure your Textra notifications allow up on the phone while the phone is locked.
  • Hold on the left button to get to quick settings and make sure the Vera had notifications turned on.
  • Do you get a notification but unable to read the body? Then what the settings in your textra app
  • Check the aorta permissions in the ordering system

Please use the edit function to add package data to the title of possible.  It would help if the title was something like "cancer reward notifications from Textra with the Android phone" or 'not receiving Textra Notifications with the android phone'

@kcummings0105 You can. You need to enable the preview in Privacy settings in Textra. See my post here.
