Incorrect mileage on bike rides

Hi, I've just started bike riding and have noticed the mileage is really inaccurate. For example, I rode 9 miles last weekend and my Versa showed it as 5. Today I did 19 miles and Versa said 0.74 miles!!!! I'm worried the calorie count is being affected by this too as I'm linking to my fitness pal. 

 

I checked the forums and this seems to have been a problem with Fitbits for years! Surely it's been sorted by now?!? Can anyone advise? Thanks 🙂

@ClaireBa Welcome to the forum! Do you start your ride manually on your Versa (GPS-enabled) or do you let Versa autorecognize it (no GPS tracking)?

@ClaireBa I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. As @Marrrmaduke mentioned, did you start the Biking activity from your watch or did the Versa tracked it automatically? Have you restarted your Versa lately by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen? If so, please let us know
