Unable to read text notifications

I'm not able to read text messages on my Versa 2. When I get the message notifications I tap the open option and instead of opening on the Fitbit it opens the message app on my phone

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I think it has something to do with Samsung or the Versa needing an update to be able to display the message from the Samsung Messages App. I switched to get messages from my Facebook Messenger App and it worked

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. If you continue experiencing difficulties with the notifications feature, I suggest you to disable and re-enable the notifications feature again and let me know if that works.
