I have done everything I know to do and my NEW Versa will not give me phone calls, text messages, notifications of any kind except to get up and walk! I have done all the help tips and still nothing. What now?

Same here. Every so often I'll find a short series of texts but without any signal they've come in,  no calls, no emails. Worked a bit when I got it last year then quit. I've also tried all the tips.

Mine is doing the same thing.  It has worked perfectly until the last couples of weeks.  It doesn’t vibrate either when a text actually comes through.

Hello @Darbry@jackiebm and @RoxyRoxy have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would like to thank you for letting us know you've already tried to troubleshoot this issue on your side.

Tell me, have you restarted your Versa already by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Now, if you have already restarted your Versa, make sure it's not currently in the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode by pressing down the button on the side for 2 seconds, in here check that Notification have been set to ON. If everything seems to working fine, I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications from the Fitbit app following these steps:

  1. Force-quit the Fitbit app, then open it again and sync your tracker.
  2. Restart the Bluetooth on your phone once again.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Refresh Notifications:
    • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon
    • Tap Notifications.
    • Turn off all notifications
    • Restart your phone.
    • Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on.
  5. Set up Notifications again:
    • Tell your phone to "forget" your device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device.
      1. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and find your Fitbit device in the list.
      2. Find an option to forget the device.
    • Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again.

Please give these steps a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I actually read another post and figured out that the notifications on my watch were actually off. I guess at some point in time I had hit the left hand button and turned them off. It is working fine now.
