Unable to set up Verda

I have just got a Fitbit Versa it will pair but then it fails when it tries to download the update so I just have the Fitbit icon on the front screen.

Here is what I’ve tried so far:

-updated iPhone software

-removed and re added the Fitbit app 

-tried to set up a new Fitbit account 

-unpaired and re paired with WiFi and Bluetooth 

-removed all devices paired with Bluetooth 

-turned off the phone 

- reset (holding down the left and top right) it has a charging pod so can’t reset when connected to power 

 

im out of ideas, any other suggestions ?

Cant help but im having the same problem. Just recieved my versa today...and cant set it up.

 It connects to bluetooth and wifi but then wont setup. The red cross keeps flashing up on the screen. Im now panicking as i have a galaxy s9 and have now read the s9 wont work with the versa and im worried i have just totally wasted £200!!

I've been having the same issue as you the past two night in trying.  Versa and Google Pixel 2 pair, but get the red X a few seconds after attempting to update the tracker software.  I've done everything possible, but just can't figure it out.

hi all, 

 

i am having the extact same problem, have tried everything, resetting versa, restarting phone, turning bluetooth on/off, unpairing and repairing. 

deleting app - reinstalling app. and nothing works at all!!!

 

I read about doing a full phone reset - but thats extreme for a fitbit to work??

 

open to suggestions???

They have told me it probably because i have a galaxy s9 which isn't on the device compatible list . Im peed off!!! It is one of the top devices around!!!

S8 is on the list so should be ok
