Unable to sync after factory reset

Fitbit was replaced by Fitbit (thank you) was only able to display 2 different forms of tracking (please refer to previous live chats). i performed a factory reset on the watch itself. now it appears with a big red X saying "Data not cleared, sync and try again". Tried syncing in app and it keeps failing. deleted app and tried again still failed tried this all several times. HELP please

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for all the information that was shared in your post, your effort and patience troubleshooting your replacement Versa are appreciated. I'd like to let you know that the red X and the error message that's on your device's display is because the firmware version update wasn't successfully completed. 

 

To resolve this, leave on all-day sync and remove other Fitbit watches and trackers from your phone's Bluetooth settings. Then, please follow the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
