I've had my Versa Special Edition for maybe 7 months. I'm STILL waiting to be able to use Fitbit Pay as my bank is still not participating. And now there's a new model? So my "special edition" is outdated before I even get full functionality on it?
Wow....I'm just speechless, and not in a good way.

Hi @lorraineg it happens with anything manufactured and sold. I got my phone, the next month there was a special on the new model. Got my computer and almost a year later, there was a faster, sleeker model on the shelves. Companies don't always tell us when something new is being released, but it's to be expected. Improvements are being made more rapidly than ever before and it's hard for the consumer to catch up. If you like your Versa SE, then I wouldn't worry about it. Fitbit will continue to update firmware and offer support for their products. If your bank isn't participating, I'd ask your bank to get involved. If your bank won't do it, find a bank that does.
