Update has scrambled my Versa!

Since the latest update my Versa fails to : Log maps, log my heart rate consistently, track my walks and give me notifications when out of the house from my phone . I have restarted it, restarted my phone , uninstalled and reinstalled the app and am now out of ideas. Can anyone help?

@Pingette46   Can you be more specific about the type of update?

  • The current Versa firmware has been out for some time -- no recent firmware update
  • Has your phone had a recent operating system update?  I use an iPhone and Apple is rolling out a new OS update.  I do not follow Android updates.
  • Has there been a recent update in your phone's app?

Hi, since you got an update of your Android Version, also make sure you have the latest Fitbit app update for that version. If that does not solve your problem, I would suggest the following:

1. Before performing these steps, do not remove or unpair your Versa from the Fitbit app

2. Logout of your Fitbit account and deinstall the Fitbit app

3. Restart your phone and after that enable BT again

4. Reinstall Fitbit app, which also means that you get the newest version.

5. Login to your Fitbit account again.

6. Sync you Versa with the Fitbit app and see if your problem is solved.

Mine hasn’t been tracking my exercise properly since the update. I contacted support but their recommendations didn’t work. I was in the elliptical for 20 minutes and it only gave me 16 calories towards my goal. It also doesn’t track my walks.

Have tried this and ended up buying and installing the fix app ! Just hoping it all works now
