I have a Versa Lite and sometimes I would like to see the CURRENT temperature but the app on the watch says it was updated awhile ago (like 36 minutes). Is there a way to update it from the watch itself?

Hello @Wolfie1038 the app has a default time out for the last sync. If weather is requested within the timeout period the watch does not try to update. As @SunsetRunner states their is no way to change this.

Hi @Wolfie1038 , the way to update the weather is to sync your Versa with the Fitbit app. After this, you have the current temperature for your location. Regards kuzibri

Thank you for the reply. I am aware you can sync and update it from the app on my phone, but sometimes I want it "current" not 15 minutes ago and I thought there might be a way to just refresh it on the watch itself.

Unfortunately this is not possible, regards kuzibri

@Wolfie1038 I use the weather app a lot. I, too, was concerned that I wasn't getting a current temperature. What good is 45 minute old weather? So I started double-checking the temperature with my phone app, which uses the Weather Channel, not AccuWeather. The two measurements are always within one degree (Fahrenheit) of each other. My current location dates very quickly if I am in a new location.
I am confident that I am getting the current temperature. I decided that the update time refers to future weather. All bets are off if you don't give the app the necessary permissions.
