Used clock face determines your battery drainage.

Hi all,

I found out by trial and error that the clock face you use on your Versa, determines also the drainage of your battery. I have tried tons of clock faces to find out which one fitted my personal needs the most. For a while I used the Business Clock face designed by Fitbit itself, which is 267 kB and after that I used the Light Clock face, also by Fitbit, with a size of 178 kB. Both clock faces have hardly any customazable possibilities and I noticed with these two faces that my battery drained more than I expected. Now I have installed the Classic Clock Face, a third party face (you can find it by going to clock faces - all faces - choose searching faces and then classic and it will be displayed as the first one) which is only 34 kB and has a lot of possibilities in the settings, like changing the color of the seconds indicator, displaying the battery status, hiding the minutes, etc, etc. You're also able to see all of your health stats by pressing in the middle of the screen. You will see steps, thereafter heart rate, used calories, steps and active minutes. Do not know how the developer of this Clock Face achieved all these possibilities within 34 kB, but it's true (use it now for two weeks). Charged my Versa last onTuesday evening and the battery status tells me that it is 50%. Hope to have given you some help in case of battery saving, BTW, wear the Versa 24/7.

Update: Going to charge my Versa this evening. so on one charge the Versa lasted from tuesday evening last week untill todays's evening (December 3). It still shows 18%. 6 days on one charge!!

kindest regards, kuzibri

There are many "classic" faces that show up, do you have who it's made by?
