Using Spotify during exercise

Hi, I have a Versa 3 and while I use the exercise function I cannot use other features or app, like stopwatch or Spotify, so I need to use my phone.

Any way to go around this?

Hi @SunsetRunner - Yes, don't use Spotify Controls but use the in built Music controls [double press the button].

The reason this works better is it can run as a system function regardless of what else is running on the watch and not only that with it you can adjust the volume and you don't need Spotify premium either..

It should be noted that the watch can only run a clock face OR an app, but there are system functions such as Music Controls or Voice Assistant that can run at the same time.

Some exercises possibly have timing functionality. Check before you start the exercise with swipe up to see the settings. If you don't specifically start an exercise but let it auto recognise you can use other clock or app functions normally.
