Versa 2: Blue line on display

I'm having issues with my Versa 2 for quite a while now. The display is showing a blue line on the right side. This line is persistent, remaining visible during shutdown, startup, and regular operation.

The other issue that I'm running into is a display that sometimes acts like it is being pressed when it is not. This doesn't happen a few times and stop. It can vibrate quite rapidly, indicating a display "touch".

I've attached pictures to the display line issue. Since it looks like I can't upload video, I'll try to provide a link with the video a little bit later.

I've tried restarting numerous times, performing a factory reset, un-pairing and re-pairing, and making sure that there is no water on the display or practically anywhere else on the watch.IMG_0244 - Copy.jpgIMG_0245 - Copy.jpg

Thanks for a good definition of the problem.

It seems the watch is now clearly faulty and needs replacing.

Some issues have been occurring since the recent updates from the last part of January 2021.

If its an issue following the recent updates, and was working fine before, its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

I honestly can't say that it was a direct result of updates. I'm making an assumption here, but I'm not entirely convinced that a software update would have caused a massive hardware fault like this. It makes sense to reach out to them directly. I appreciate the input!

There have been a number of posts of similar equally weird incidences following the updates. It can't be coincidence how they have been appearing just recently.
