Versa 2 Ellipitcal Not displaying distance

Hello, 

I have a Versa 2 that I use with my elliptical trainer. It tracks my steps, heartrate fine but does not display my distance. I have my stride length set but still no distance after a workout.

I see from other threads that distance is usually tracked and cannot seem to find a fix.

Any help would be great

I don't know if this would apply to elliptical, but for "walk", in the workout summary Fitbit shows distance if you track it via the Exercise App (choosing exercise type, starting and ending workout on the tracker), but not if you let if auto-detect the walk.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
