Versa 2 Heart Rate Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had Recently Updated my Versa 2, Since the update it had completely changed my fat burn, Cardio & Peak heart rates. My Main focus is keeping my heart rate @ Peak during my Runs. It doesn't Allow me to Change in the Custom Heart Rate options. I have noticed my Husbands Versa 2 did the same thing after the update. Anyone else with this issue and Find it completely Annoying ? Is this the new normal for Fitbit Users ?

This is indeed the new normal.

The latest update changed from Active Minutes to Active Zone minutes and, with that, the way the heart rate zones are calculated has also changed. They now depend on your resting heart rate as well as your age so they are more personalized to your fitness level.

There's a guide to how the zones are calculated in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1565.htm and there is a guide to Active Zone Minutes in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1379.htm

With the new calculation your peak zone starts at (0.85 x heart rate reserve) + resting heart rate, where your heart rate reserve is 220 - age - resting heart rate

Would have been nice to have a warning that the update would wipeout current active minutes. This EFFING SUCKS! I am so angry!
