Versa 2 Heartrate tracking changed?

It seems that after a software update late last fall, my average workout heart rate tracking fell.  It now seems to be consistently about 10 beats lower.  I have been wearing a heart rate monitor for years and have a pretty good sense of the level of effort on my part and my heart rate.  Total calorie tracking is commensurately lower as well.  My wife has noticed the same thing on hers.

I recently received a gorgeous Versa 2 as a gift. I was really impressed by the accuracy of the pulse tracking. I basically checked it with a high-performance Oximeter and it was incredibly accurate in its parameters. After the unfortunate moment when I decided to do that firmware update, I found that the values of the pulse measurement went crazy! Such a thing is inadmissible! Wanting to solve some aesthetic problems and damage the thing you gained fame with: Precise heart rate tracking! Shame on you for what you did! You should fix this tomorrow! if you didn't do it yesterday!
