I have to agree. I got a versa 2 because my company has a promotional agreement with fitbit. I chose the Versa 2 because it was the only watch that was waterproof. I only really cared about the swim tracking features, and I've been dissappointed. All I get on my water watch during a swim is.. a clock. That's it.. a clock... no other stats.
Like all serious swimmers, I only need/want 2 things from my swim app.. lap count, and time. Music is a plus, but not essential.
Its kind of a do-all gadget instead of a swim tracker and I have plenty of gadgets. I would not have purchased this watch if I had known this.

Had I known that Versa 2 did not show the distance on the watch while swimming, I would not have bought it. Why advertise swim tracking if it does not show the distance while swimming? Can this be brought back with an update?

my versa broke after a few times swimming last month. Been nearly 2 years old it wasn't covered and i bought the versa 2 to replace it and haven't liked it much. i miss the quick select buttons and most importantly the lap counter when swimming. i swim 4 times a week doing 30+ laps rely on the counter a lot. PLEASE BRING IT BACK ASAP

Just curious to see if others are having the same issue as u have been experiencing with the lap count on Versa 2.
It's bad enough having to count in my head again but since I've upgraded to the Versa 2 my stats are always 50m (one pool length) short.
I just swum 1.1km (22 length in a 50m pool) but it only shows 1.05km (21 length). Anyone else with a similar issue? It's really annoying.
I really hope Fitbit updates the software on the watch real soon. Very disappointed. This was not the reason why I bought the Versa in the first place. Regretting it big time and wish I had gone for the Ionic ...

I totally agree ! What a disappointment today when I went swimming back since a long time... No more indication of number of laps on the watch and, even worse, it does not even has any impact on the number of steps a day... (Or is this only me ?)
