Versa 2 Inaccuracies with Fitbit app

I’ve had my Versa 2 for about 2 weeks and I’ve noticed some issues with the syncing to the Fitbit app. This happens mainly with the active hours and the calorie counting. My Versa will tell me that I was active for 8/8 hours and burnt 2000+ calories for the day. But when I sync it with the app it will say that I was active 2/8 hours and only burnt 1500 calories for the day. I’m on my feet all day at work so I know that I was active for those hours I’m just not sure why it won’t properly sync with the app. 
I’ve tried all of the rebooting techniques multiple times but it doesn’t change on the app. I’m wondering if anyone else is having this problem. This is my 3rd Fitbit and I’ve never had this issue before so I’m wondering if there’s a connection issue with the Versa and the app.
