Hi!
This has happened in the past, but I wanted to mention two times — last night and again this morning — where my Versa 2 recorded an HR that was wildly inaccurate.
Last night, when sitting on the couch relaxing (in fact, falling asleep), my Versa 2 recorded an HR of over 160bpm. When I noticed this, I immediately took my pulse (two fingers to the neck) and my actual HR was somewhere in the mid-70s.
At the gym this morning, I took my Versa 2 off before going into the shower. When it was in my locker (sitting on top of my iPad and iPhone), it recorded an HR of approximately 200bpm. When I saw this, I checked the time that it was recorded and confirmed that I wasn’t wearing the watch when this occurred.
I’m concerned because these errors mess with my resting HR. I’m also concerned that there’s something going on with the watch itself.
Has anyone else experienced something like this before? If so, what did you do to correct the issue(s) from occurring again?
Thanks!
-Dave

Hi @davegutberlet, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.
I would like to follow up on the heart rate tracking issue that your Versa 2 is experiencing and I would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved.
In the meantime, restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. Finally, monitor your Versa 2 and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

@JuanJoFitbit , Sorry for the delayed response. The issue that I reported appears to be resolved -- not for anything that I may, or may not, have done! 🙂
