Hello everyone! I took my watch off (versa 2) a year ago and put it in its box. I’ve just recently started to exercise again so dug it out, put it on charge and went for a run to then realise the Heart Rate Monitor wasn’t working, so no active times and no average hear rate.. I’ve tried searching this forum for a correct answer. Tried all the troubleshooting advice, even reset the watch it’s self back to factory settings…
is there anyone out there who has managed to fix this problem?
many thanks!

@BeanzMT have you verified that the heart rate sensor is turned on? To do that, swipe over to Settings and then scroll down to Heart Rate.
Is it behaving okay otherwise? Sometimes these older devices don't do well if they've been idle for a while.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. yeah it’s all turned on and behaving normally. Just not registering heart rate.. things shouldn’t break if they’re left turned off for a year, surely?

Bump.. any Fitbit techs about?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @BeanzMT. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 isn't showing its green lights. Thanks for mentioning all the steps that you have followed in order to correct this. I'll be happy to assist.
Please confirm that you've checked help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?
Also does your heart rate appear on the Fitbit app?
Thanks for your assistance @alexthecat.
