Versa 2 - Not Syncing & More Problems

I make no apologies for the long'ish post but I can assure everyone that this IS very much a genuine post & I'm genuinely seeking help as 5 months of repeated self help via the "manual", "help" & "Fitbit community" have made no difference & I'm at the end of my rope with it. 

 

In November 2019 I updated from my 19 month old Charge 2 (that hadn't worked properly for 4+ months) to a Versa 2 to see if I could go back to having a Fitbit that worked properly & did what it was meant to ........... I don't know why I bothered!!

 

Ever since the 30th December my Versa 2 will only sync when it's on charge & even then it's not recording everything or working properly.  I've lost count of how many times I've re-started everything & gone through ALL of the recommendations in the help sections plus those on here. My mobile is a Samsung S9 & it's up-to-date with everything. 

 

Last month while in hospital with Covid-19 I decided to take up the free 90 day premium option as along with a couple of bits I was interested in I also thought it might help my Versa 2  to go back to working normally again. ..... wrong!!

 

This morning I saw there was an update available for so put my Versa 2 on charge where it wouldn't even sync never mind update. Once again I went through everything, finally it updated but now the stupid thing is even more useless!! Regardless of everything it won't sync, it won't re-join the bluetooth or do much else. I've got it back on my wrist (I can live in hope!).

I'm starting to think that I've got a duff one? Within a month of buying it it stopped working properly. This is my 3rd Fitbit, I started with the Fitbit One 5+ years ago but this will be my last if this can't be sorted out.

 

If anyone can please offer any further help I'd be really grateful as I'm now starting to think that Fitbit is no longer what it used to be & maybe I should switch brands?

UPDATE

Not quite sure how but I've managed to get the bluetooth back on.

 

Whoever keeps reporting my posts, this IS a genuine post & NOT spam!!

Sorry @AngelHarmony but with all the extra fluff, I cant figure out what the issue is.

@Rich_Laue - sorry you don't understand.

 

My new Fitbit stopped working properly in every way after just 1 month. I've read the manual umpteen times, read the help articles, lots of posts on here, updated everything & although a couple of bits now appear to be ok,  it's still really frustrating to have a Fitbit that doesn'twork properly!!
