Versa 2 Not Working Properly

It's been months now since Fitbit bricked the Versa 2, mine being out of warranty and my problem that they the release an update to break them all. Am still aghast.

I see they admit to problems with Luxe and Charge 5 syncing to certain devices, which amongst other Fitbit product comments seem to imply they have lost the grasp of safe releases. Time for an ombudsman I think.

Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.
