Versa 2: Not syncing and recording sleep

My Versa 2 will not sync sleep automatically, only steps. Also doesn't store sleep info on watch for previous night, only average. Can only get sleep info if manually sync through app on phone. Is this right?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using with your Versa 2? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device following the steps that are specified on our help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and then, troubleshoot the app with the following ones:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I have a Versa Lite and it is not syncing today either, just fully charged watch, rebooted phone and hit reset on watch.

Welcome aboard @Irishmae11, thanks for bringing your issue to my attention.

 

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

My Versa 2 still isn't syncing automatically. I have to sync to get sleep data and it still doesn't always show on my fitbit. Also, battery just died and time is wrong despite syncing and resetting several times. Any suggestions?
