Versa 2 not recognizing daily workout

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my versa 2 since January. This week it is not recording my daily work outs. It's been doing it automatically until now. I've done 3 work outs this week and still says 0.

Help!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Lmp11.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the information provided.

I would recommend restarting your watch by following these instructions. In addition, please make sure your workouts are longer than what is set in your Fitbit account > Settings > Devices > Versa 2 > Auto-Exercise Recognition.

Whether you continue experiencing the same problem, please tell me what kind of workouts do you usually perform?

Hope this helps.

I have a similar problem 1) My exercise choices never included Aerobic Workouts on device or app and then one day they just showed up, as identified. 2)Now they are not showing at all even though they should be recognized. I'd like to add Aerobic Exercise as a separate choice/selection to my choices on the device. How do I do that?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kayceekitty.

Thanks for the information provided.

The following activities can be tracked in the Exercise app on your Fitbit Versa 2:

There is no option to add an exercise that is not part of the list above. There is a feature suggestion called "Aerobic workout option on exercise app". You are welcome to vote it and if there is any update it will be communicated as soon as possible.

Your watch will automatically recognize and record the following activities through the SmartTrack feature

If your watch is not tracking your Aerobic Workouts automatically, please set it up as a replacement device:

  1. Tap the Today tab Fitbit logo, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

If you have any question, please let us know.

Is the green LED light off on the back of yours? Mine stopped recognizing my workouts/zone minutes and I kept getting basic sleep scores and it turns out the heart rate monitor stopped functioning. It sounds like many other Versa 2 users are in the same boat after an update seems to have killed the heart rate monitor (the green LED). I would imagine many others haven't even realized it yet. Since yours is less than a year old, I think you should be able to use the warranty and get a new device.

Thanks for the reply! The green LED light is lit on my device and the heart rate monitor is working. I tried something that seems to have worked...I turned it off then on again...same fancy fix I use with my computer sometimes or certain programs. But I appreciate the info and will keep an eye on that green light!

I’m having the same problem, I do Leslie sans one’s power walking videos with weights and while it will track my steps, it doesn’t count it as the aerobic exercise it has been doing since the beginning of time. This started on Saturday.
